Patients work with licensed counselors, mental health professionals, peer recovery specialists, and nursing staff through individual therapy, group counseling, and wellness activities. Treatment plans build emotional regulation, life skills, and confidence, helping women and families move toward lasting recovery.
Heal in Supportive Residential Settings
Wayside Women’s Treatment in St. Louis Park provides gender-specific and gender-affirming residential care for up to 41 women, with an average stay of about 90 days. The center includes on-site mental health services, daily wellness programming, and a calm environment where patients can focus on recovery.
Wayside Family Treatment in Minneapolis is the only residential program in the Twin Cities where mothers can live with up to 3 children (ages birth–11). The program coordinates daycare or school transportation, offers parenting education, and supports pregnant patients, helping families stay connected while mom receives comprehensive care.
Access Flexible Outpatient Support
Wayside offers two intensive outpatient program (IOP) options: a telehealth program held on weekday evenings and an in-person program at its St. Paul office Monday through Wednesday. Both provide group therapy, individual counseling, and evidence-based practices such as moral reconation therapy (MRT).
