Testimonial
Sandstone’s Chesapeake residential program is unmatched in their treatment of adolescents. I recommended the program to a family friend, and from the initial phone call through discharge they were treated with compassion and respect. The Sandstone Chesapeake provides a vitally needed program to the region and I will continue recommending their services to anyone in need.

Communication with therapists was difficult at first, got better as time went on. My son was there for mental health and substance abuse. There seemed to be limited opportunities for daily exercise, which is disappointing that there is not on-site exercise equipment and walks in the neighborhood aren't allowed. My son put on about 15 pounds, he's obviously got a role in that, but it seemed like there was a lot of idle time. Having a small gym on site with a few machines would have been great.
