Care Options

Levels of Care

Everyone's recovery journey is unique. Whether it looks like residential rehab for 30 days, an outpatient program, or virtual therapy, you can find a level of care that fits your needs.
Detox
Typically the initial stage of treatment for substance use, focusing on medically supervised management of withdrawal symptoms.
Residential Rehab
Offering intensive care with 24/7 monitoring, residential substance use treatment is typically 30 days. Length can range from 14 to 90 days.
Sober Living
Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.
Outpatient
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Virtual & In-Home Care
Not Offered at This Center
The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.
Sober Companion
A sober companion is an individual who provides 24/7 support and accountability to an individual in recovery, often living with them or accompanying them to help maintain sobriety, especially during crucial transition periods such as after leaving a treatment facility; they offer guidance, encouragement, and assistance in establishing healthy routines to prevent relapse.

I spent some time at Seasons during the Summer/Fall of 2023 and it was certainly a life changing experience. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get help, and I am so glad that I chose to receive it from Seasons. They truly are a dual-diagnosis program, and if you are suffering from addiction, they really work hard at getting to the root of the problem. I did a lot of research prior to choosing which treatment center to go to, and Seasons checked all of the boxes and I was not disappointed. If there is something that disappoints you, it is very easy to advocate for yourself. Dr. Shilati runs a great program; the doctors and clinicians are top-notch and there are a variety of modalities that can help you with whatever you're struggling with. They work well with your family and any external doctors you may have. All of the staff are incredibly caring and compassionate. The food is great and you are welcome to go to the beach for walks or AA meetings, but nothing is forced. I am so happy that I went to Seasons and I would recommend it to anyone. Every dollar spent was worth it and I miss it everyday!

I can't emphasize this enough: Seasons saved my life. Really, I like to say I made the decision to live, and Seasons taught me what it means to be alive. If I could write a 100/5 star review every day for the rest of my life, I would. I came to Seasons after a non-science-based, 12-step-only program that hardly scratched the surface on my trauma. After arriving to Seasons, I was quickly diagnosed with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), and this was the first time I felt seen. The team understood that I was less interested in focusing on substances or other self-destructive behaviors and more on practicing self-love, respect, and growth, but first I had to find the "self" piece. With science-backed modalities such as EMDR, brainspotting, craniosacral, hypnosis, and many, many more, I was able to unlock hundreds of memories I was never aware that I had, relieve life-long physical ailments (the body truly does keep the score), and embrace a complex, deep, empathetic version of myself (and, if you don't know what any of those terms mean, don't worry -- I didn't either before coming here!). Ask anyone at Seasons and they'll tell you I went from bragging that I never cry to bragging that I cry of gratitude and happiness regularly. I learned 6 decades of wisdom in 60 days, at least. I also learned that many therapy modalities promoted for trauma work in mainstream society are not enough. I had been engaging in years of therapy only to realize the techniques I was us

I came to Seasons Dec 1 2023 and stayed 2 months. My experience was profoundly life changing. Starting from the top all the way down to each and every doctor and practitioner, I could tell immediately that they hired the best team possible. The program felt extremely effective because they paired me with the right fit of doctors and practitioners that had experience with the type of trauma/addictions I had. They were very thoughtful and meticulous in the way our program was experienced by meeting as an entire team on a regular basis to make sure everyone knew how progress was being made and what was happening all the time with the clients. I felt seen and heard and paid attention to on a regular basis and they provided me with everything I needed. I would strongly recommend Seasons to anyone and everyone who asks me for a recommendation. I hope I never have to go back, but if I needed treatment again… I would go to Seasons.-Kevin

have been in Seasons Malibu for over 40 days, I came here specifically for alcohol dependence, which was having a negative effect over all areas of my life. I came in fearful, in need of a positive life direction to move forward. I was welcomed here to a nurturing, caring environment where all of the staff was supportive, invested in their clients success. This has been a once in a lifetime experience- they have helped me regain my identity, embrace a new life of sobriety, the challenges that come with it and have helped bring out all of the best in me on a day to day basis. The whole treatment team is comprehensive, caring and knowledgeable about recovery and truly gets into causes and conditions to why we resort to a life of addiction. Seasons has truly changed my life and I’m forever grateful for my experience, the relationships I’ve made here.Anyone in need of help, I would strongly recommend and encourage everyone to come here, it will be a wonderful experience for you,
