Located in sunny San Diego, Soledad House provides high-quality substance abuse treatment tailored specifically to women. They offer comprehensive substance abuse and relapse prevention programs including residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), a Christian rehab program, sober living, and alumni aftercare programs. Participants typically spend 90 days or more in a supportive space that provides a nurturing, faith-based approach to lasting sobriety. While 12-Step philosophy is the cornerstone of the program, Soledad House creates individually tailored treatment plans that include both traditional and integrative therapies. Treatment includes individual counseling, group therapy, life skills, family counseling, eye movement therapy (EMDR), exercise therapy, meditation, and yoga.

Programs at Soledad are broken up into Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 takes place in their low-traffic, secure, women-only facility. After a set amount of time, when clients achieve their goals and are ready, they can begin the move to Phase 2. Phase 2 clients transition into a sober living home within a mile of the main facility. This offers clients more freedom and allows them to set their own schedules. However, accountability, peer support, and ongoing therapy are still readily available.

Soledad House boasts of panoramic views of the surrounding communities of La Jolla and Pacific Beach. The up-scale, 2-story homes offer a sense of community. Each home has a modern kitchen with plenty of common spaces for relaxing. The sober living homes have high speed internet, washer and dryers, single and shared rooms with full sized beds, and an outdoor patio with a BBQ grill. Clients will also have the opportunity to participate in activities such as hiking, surfings, skiing, and snowboarding. Soledad House provides a warm and supportive environment complete with a top-notch program just 2 miles from the beach.

Review from Rehabs.com

I just wanted to take this time to write about a place that I hold with the upmost gratitude. Short story long my girlfriend has been battling addiction for 15+ years. Recently she finally hit rock bottom, swallowed her pride and decided to get the help that her family and I couldn't provide to. God knows we tried. It wasn't an easy process. But our new family, aka staff at Soledad, matched her dedication and her drive to do better. Now I can smile and say in all honesty I have my honeybear back. God blesses those who bless others. Thank you..
