Rated by Newsweek as Top 10 Addiction Treatment Center in Massachusetts

Spring Hill Recovery Center offers lasting solutions for recovery from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their residential program gets at the roots of addiction with trauma-informed care and a community of support. They use a holistic approach and evidence-based treatments, including medication-assisted treatment for eligible clients with alcohol or opioid use disorders. Care is centered on each client’s experience with addiction and provides tailored recovery plans.

Embrace a Holistic Path to Recovery

Spring Hill’s programs treat the whole person, not just the addiction, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Their approach is rooted in solutions that are proven to be effective, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT). Clients participate in a full-day curriculum of group sessions, and meet weekly or more 1:1 with their primary clinician. Spring Hill also offers alternative treatments including art therapy, music therapy, yoga classes, and meditation.

Lean on a Full Continuum of Care

Spring Hill can connect clients who require medical detox services before beginning residential treatment with their sister facility just outside Boston. When detox is complete, Spring Hill will arrange for transportation to begin residential treatment. Clients needing ongoing support can attend one of Spring Hill’s outpatient programs in Quincy. This includes day treatment, intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient options. They can also help arrange sober living nearby for safe, substance-free housing while receiving outpatient care.

Begin to Thrive in Peaceful Woodlands

Spring Hill provides a retreat-like setting that allows clients to focus on healing. The remote woodland location is less than 60 miles from Boston and surrounded by tree-covered hills and open fields. The campus has a family-like atmosphere, with men and women residing in separate units. Clients have 24-hour access to a fully equipped fitness center, and chefs provide nutritious, homemade meals three times a day plus snacks.

Spring Hill is the best place for treatment. I've been to other treatment centers and nothing compares to Spring Hill. Colleen the director had to take me off the mountain kicking and screaming! The nursing staff was incredible. They were compassionate, kind, and, nurturing. The behavioral staff, was fantastic. James was great the first person who identified my trauma and helped me through my nightmares. Case Manager Kelly M was amazing to work with, she got me through a bad time in my life. Thank you Spring Hill Belinda Carroll

I can't say enough about Spring Hill Recovery Center but in the interest of brevity and in no particular order: 1. The facilities are top shelf. 2. The food was way better than what I expected. 3. Having a well equipped gym to work out in was clutch and helped my recovery. 4. The staff was remarkable and caring. Specifically: A. Marcus is a tremendous asset to SH. All of his lectures/seminars were interesting and enlightening. His passion for what he does is clearly evident. B. My clinician Chelsea was caring and compassionate. C. Sarah showed exemplary professionalism and understanding from a placement and business standpoint. She put me at ease, thoroughly explained the program and accurately set my expectations. D. Nabil is energetic, smart and willing to listen. SH is fortunate to have him captaining the ship. He is a true leader. E. John is not only a knowledgeable nurse, but his personality and friendliness made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. F. Mo, Nick, Doug and Jeff did the tough job of tracking my whereabouts courteously. They allowed me to maintain my dignity during a humbling time.

Review from Rehabs.com

I spent 30 days here about 7 years ago. It was my first detox, first program, first time going to AA ... I met some incredible people here. Some of them have made it, some have not. I pray for all of them. I am finally sober just over a year this month, and the things I learned through this program really touched my life in a major way. I still remember so many things, and how they helped me to where I am today. I would recommend this program to anyone who needs help with substance/alcohol abuse or with complicated mental health tendencies!
