Summit at Harmony Oaks is a residential treatment center with southern charm located on over 100 acres in the Smoky Mountains. Using evidence-based practices, they help clients build a solid foundation for a lifetime in recovery. They provide compassionate care for depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, co-occurring disorders, and fatigue and burnout. Summit at Harmony Oaks is the newest member of the Harmony Recovery Group family of treatment programs, and able to work with many private insurance plans.

Summit at Harmony Oaks offers 2 programs: a substance use disorder inpatient detoxification and a residential mental health treatment for adults 18+. They provide treatment that creates a solid foundation in recovery and teach clients skills they can use to maintain stability long after they leave the campus. Dr. Jill Thompson, board-certified in addiction medicine with over 20 years of experience, leads the compassionate medical team. Staff personalize treatment plans, continuing care plans, and medication management based on comprehensive physical evaluations and ongoing assessments. Psychoeducation improves recovery literacy to maintain long-term healthcare needs after discharge.

Solid Foundation for Co-Occurring Disorder Recovery

Summit at Harmony Oaks’ mental health program empowers clients to proactively manage their mental health. Clients learn to recognize their unique stressors and how to navigate unforeseen and intense situations in their day-to-day life. The client-focused curriculum includes specialized therapies, wellness and nutrition, family coordination, and an empowered team culture. They offer family therapy and education to strengthen family relationships, which in turn supports dual diagnosis recovery.

Peaceful, Mountainside Location

Surrounded by a beautiful mountainscape, the grand home boasts a retreat-like setting where clients can enjoy the sounds of nature within the comforts of a resort-like facility. An indoor fireplace makes for a cozy gathering room while rocking chairs adorn the outdoor porches, creating peace and ultimate relaxation. Clients can swim or lounge beside the outdoor pool. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, some with views of the sunrise over the mountains. The addiction and mental health programs are separately positioned on the property.
