This is the right place if you are serious about taking control of your own recovery. Sunflower offers a holistic programming, including CBT instruction, meditation, healthy activities and a focus on building tools that will help with post-recovery. The counselors are well-trained, supportive and clearly engaged in giving clients a wide variety of tools and mental processes that they can use for life-long health. There is access to work-out facilities both on-site and nearby, including a pool, as well as on- and off-site trips to AA and SMART recovery as part of the post-treatment lifestyle. As a vegetarian, the chef and staff were very accommodating. Again, I would recommend Sunflower to any who wants to control their own recovery through wide-ranging skills.

I found this place to be very effective. It not only addressed my addiction issues but raised my self-esteem. They address the disease from more than one angle through one on one therapy, psychological medical needs, small intimate classes, outside and inside AA/NA, cognitive behavior therapy, and Smart Recovery meetings outside of the facility. And we did fun stuff- sober!

Staff is excellent, caring and supportive in your recovery. The group meetings were awesome and educational. Going to different meets (AA, Smart etc.) was helpful to see where you want to go for treatment after you are released from rehab. Food is EXCELLENT! I would recommend Sunflower if you are serious about getting clean.
