About The Beachcomber Recovery
For over 40 years, The Beachcomber has offered drug and alcohol recovery services to South Florida and beyond. They currently offer detox, inpatient, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and outpatient services. The Beachcomber works with both Florida-based and national insurance companies. Their small staff-to-client ratio helps ensure individualized attention and care. In addition to their personalized treatment, the Beachcomber provides detailed aftercare planning for appropriate placement.
Holistic and Community-Based Approach
The Beachcomber’s approach to healing involves finding clarity and peace within Florida’s rejuvenating environment. They use holistic therapies such as yoga, acupuncture, meditation, rapid resolution therapy, emotional freedom technique, and light-sound neurotherapy. In addition to their mind-body approach to recovery, they emphasize the importance of family involvement in their patient’s road to recovery. The Beachcomber encourages patients and their families to join the Family Program, which is held twice a week. In these sessions, family members receive psychoeducation regarding addiction and relapse prevention, as well as the importance of support in their loved one’s life.
Comprehensive Care and Attention
The Beachcomber’s treatment combines individual and group counseling, 12-Step meetings, healthy meals made by an in-house chef, and plenty of time and space for relaxation and reflection. On top of the extensive recovery services provided, The Beachcomber can help schedule off-site chiropractic, massage, and physical therapy appointments for those in need.
