Located in a quiet part of Hua Hin, a favourite getaway for Thai people, The Diamond helps people recover from addiction and mental health conditions in a safe, low-stress environment. With only 12 clients at a time, they take a highly personalised approach to treatment. Their team of internationally certified therapists provides the expertise and encouragement to help every client uncover the power to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Engage in a Variety of Proven Therapies

The Diamond combines proven Eastern and Western therapeutic techniques in each client’s made-to-measure programme, delivering care in small groups and four one-to-one sessions per week. Therapies aim to treat not only physical symptoms but also underlying causes and triggers at the root. Clients engage in cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and reflective practices like art therapy and beach walk meditation.

Recover in a Tropical Paradise

The Diamond feels like an intimate resort with private bungalows each outfitted with a TV, internet, fridge, air conditioning, and patio facing the swimming pool. Clients enjoy gourmet Thai and Western meals that cater to their dietary requirements. Gym and spa areas create opportunities for strength training, yoga, massage, and sauna. On weekends, clients can explore stunning beaches, cultural sites, vibrant markets, and outdoor adventures like seeing wild elephants.

Receive Ongoing Support Back Home

The Diamond offers free weekly Zoom meetings with other alumni and the option to continue one-to-one sessions with the client’s primary counsellor from treatment. They can also connect clients to one of their aftercare partners worldwide. In the unfortunate event a client returns to use within 12 months of discharge, The Diamond welcomes them back for a 28-day refresher course at no cost (for clients who completed a 12-week programme).

I spent 60 days at The Diamond in Thailand, and it changed my life. Initially skeptical, I found the program's mix of intense therapy, group support, and holistic activities surprisingly effective. Though challenging, the experience helped me confront long-standing issues and develop new coping skills. A month after returning home, I'm using these tools daily, seeing improvements in my relationships, and feeling hopeful about my future.

I entered Diamond rehab with the initial intention to get sober, I was entirely wrong with what I needed. I needed to learn how to recover from my addiction, I needed to learn how to address my family after the dishonesty & betrayal I put them through. I needed therapy without knowing. I needed tools, support and encouragement. I gained understanding how my sickness was progressive & how my liver, health was deteriorating rapidly. Mentally, physically & emotionally I was broken & Diamond helped me restore and lay the foundations for my journey into long term recovery & sobriety.
