As a client of The Hills Rehab and having experienced 4 other facilities over the last 10 years I must say without question The Hills is the BEST Facility and has Really Incredible Professional Staff. Right from the Manager Peter, the Very Experienced and caring Dr S, the polite and knowledgeable nursing staff, my therapist Yuri who really cares to Sawyer and everyone else in the support staff I have nothing but positive things to say. They literally finally helped me make huge changes after being on prescription opioids for 15 years for an injury. You have to be willing to do the work and really wanting to get your life back though. If this is your goal The Hills will give you. All the support and tools you need. There is no perfect Rehab however The Hills is as close as you are going to get for that overall experience of getting healthy and well again both physically and mentally. The property is like a resort as the accommodations are very nice and clean with all the housekeeping services. The pools, gym, meeting areas, massage and holistic rooms are very nice. The resort is well kept and maintained daily. Then one of the most important things is nutrition and the kitchen staff are great offering a daily menu allowing one to choose their meals for the next day everyday. In addition there is always fresh fruit and vegetables available plus you can get smoothies when you want them. You will not regret going here as long as you are willing to do the work!!

Senior Manager in a Multinational

Pro: - Onsite Hospital which allows detox. Other facilities send you to public hospital first - Very nice and spacious accommodation with daily housekeeping and free laundry - Individual departments do their best to support and help you: Counseling, Nurses, Support , Supply, Finance, Cleaners, Kitchen etc... - Very good daily Yoga and Sound Treatment/Sound bath. - 2 Massages, 2 Counseling and 2 Personal Trainer Gym sessions per week included in the package. - Weekend off-site activities. - Food can be chosen one day in advance. - At my time 2 clinical phycologists and 1 addiction counselor. you need to find out out who suits you best. - Value for Money Cons: - Lack of organisation between departments at times. Misunderstandings who says what. I know the try to improve, need to be given some time after Covid. - Need to know in advance what you need and negotiate, like "I want to play Golf/Tennis off-site once a week (need to pay of course), otherwise will not be offered. I was mainly there because of depression and trauma issues and it really helped me. Some things one needs to understand when u go into REHAB (and this applies to 90% of all REHAB facilities): - You will be stripped of Passport, money, credit cars upon on arrival - You cant leave the facility w/o supervision on your own. - Usually you will not have your phone nor internet for at least 1 week. - do not believe promises interventionists make. Get it confirmed in writing from the facility

I arrived and despite my situation I was taken care perfectly at the hospital of the rehab. After couple of days, when feeling better, I was taken to my beautiful room. Better than a 5-star hotel. Immediately the therapists took charge of my stay and started sessions by myself and couple of days later in groups. It really shook me and made me react, changing my life. Thanks a lot team of the Hill. I am alive.

The Hills saved my life! I can honestly say this was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself and for my family. I had attended one other Rehab facility prior to The Hills and I cannot compare the two. The Hills provided me with the tools to live a happy, fulfilling and healthy sober life. The staff is incredible! The staff at The Hills go above and beyond for the clients. The counsellors are knowledgeable, experienced, relatable and provide consistent support. Not only do they fulfill their responsibilities as counsellors, but they get to know you on a deeply personal level and are able to give you invaluable guidance. The support staff are kind, patient, understanding and more than acomadating to all your needs. It was extremely helpful knowing at anytime I could pick the phone up from my room, or head to the support office for anything I needed. They even come to your room to get you if you forget about an appointment, massage or class! The team at the gym was likely one the best parts of my rehab process. The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive and fun! They are patient and understanding. If it wasn't for them my time in rehab would not have been as amazing as it was. The facility itself is beautiful. The grounds are kept in pristine condition. The cleaning team turns your room down each day, and does laundry daily. The rooms are large with a balcony for each. The food is fantastic! I could write more but this review section wont allow me to. The Hills saved me

Depression
Our son was treated at the Hills as part of their youth program (below 18). He had developed a substance use disorder and mental health issues. We had tried psychiatric treatment and outpatient counselling on a weekly basis for about one year but it didn't really improve his condition, so in-patient treatment was highly recommended. From the moment he agreed to go, things moved swiftly. We booked the flights and the center was extremely helpful in assisting with all the necessary preparations. We dropped him off and the process was very well-managed. The facilities are fantastic, but what matters most, of course, are the people who manage the center and interact with the patients. During his treatment, our son was able to benefit from the whole array of treatments. After the first 4 weeks, he was very keen to extend for another month since he realized the benefits he was experiencing. We were so pleasantly surprised since he had told us before that "rehab will be a waste of money" for him and "that it won't change him". When we picked him up after 2 months he has truly changed thanks to the fantastic work that the center did with him. From being more of a couch potato, he has now turned into a very sports-oriented person. He has adopted healthy habits and stayed away from substances. His depression has improved dramatically. He continues online weekly counselling with his great therapist (Matt) from The Hills. We are truly grateful. This is the most we could have hoped.

We love hearing about your treatment experience
