The Orchid Recovery provides personalised recovery programs for substance use, mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as process addictions such as gambling. They offer detox and residential programs lasting 4, 8, or 12 weeks. By addressing the root causes of addiction and incorporating evidence-based and holistic therapies, The Orchid empowers clients to reclaim their lives in a supportive and serene environment in Thailand.

Access High-Quality Care Led by a Full-Time Psychiatrist

Under the leadership of The Orchid’s founder and full-time psychiatrist—a pioneer in addiction treatment who brings over 30 years of experience—clients receive a comprehensive blend of leading treatment methods. The Orchid uses evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and trauma therapy to help clients address the root causes of addiction and build healthy coping mechanisms. The team incorporates daily holistic practices like yoga, sound baths, meditation, and mindfulness so that clients can reconnect with themselves. Additionally, IV therapy is used to promote faster physical recovery and protect the brain and body from long-term damage.

Build Unity as a Couple or Family

The Orchid Recovery recognizes the vital role loved ones play in the recovery journey and offers family therapy, both in-person and online, during the latter stages of treatment. Their counselling services help repair strained relationships, fostering understanding and unity within the family system. Additionally, family members who participate in therapy can enjoy the relaxing surroundings of The Orchid during their visit, creating a supportive and rejuvenating experience for everyone involved.

Transition Smoothly Back to Daily Life

At The Orchid, recovery doesn’t stop when the client completes their residential rehab program. Their team provides two months of complimentary aftercare to help clients transition back to daily life. Through weekly Zoom sessions, clients focus on relapse prevention so that they can live a more fulfilling, substance-free lifestyle after treatment.

Relax with World-Class Amenities

Located in a former hotel, The Orchid provides an intimate environment for residential treatment. With a maximum capacity of 20 clients, this small community fosters connection and ensures each client feels seen. Every client stays in a private room and enjoys access to tranquil gardens, a pool, a fitness centre, and the serene beauty of the surrounding mountains. After leaving a rehab based in Phuket 3 days into treatment, I arrived at the Orchid. The Orchid welcomed me with open arms, imediately I felt safe and secure due to the staff's warmth. I finally felt comfortable in my surroundings and ready to start my reovery. Due to the exceptional medical support, and councillor guidance, I felt very comfortable bearing all, and quickly took to the program lead out for me. During my stay I faced multiple personal challenges head on, including my anger issues, my people pleasing issues and the fact that I was unable to set boundaries. This was on top of the fact that I was addicted to codiene, crystal meth, and weed. With the patience, love and exceptional care of the staff, I left the Orchid not just starting my next chapter, but feeling reborn. Through activities including weight lifting, cardio (with the Orchid's patient kind and loving personal trainer), mindfullness (with a monk, and the talented in house minfullness expert), weekly massages and excusions, I went from feeling vulnerable and weak to feelin g strong and confident again. All thanks to the Orchid, I found myself again after losing myself for over 7 years.

Where to begin....honestly everything and everybody were just so caring, sincere and above all genuine. The place itself is idyllic; gorgeous rooms, lovely garden setting for the restaurant, beautiful outdoor pool. There is a large area for clients to relax, watch tv, play variety of board games etc., There is also a badminton court, a lovely lake to walk around and even the chance to fish..The yoga and holistic room is so calm and relaxing and the teacher is unbelievable....I spent every morning doing my stretches and improving with the help of the delightful Apple (the Yoga teacher)There is the use of an off sight fully equipped gym, about 5mins away under the tuition and professional guidance of Thai...another member of staff that goes beyond the normal working of a PT (and I have had the experience of many) I would say that Thai is the best I have ever had.To repeat myself EVERY member of staff were just so helpful, understanding and compassionate. It really has been an absolute pleasure staying here and such a positive help to me at a very difficult time in my life.Of course this is due to the professional and expertise of the highly qualified counsellers.
