Located in Boca Raton, the team at Southcoast aims to provide compassionate treatment for their clients. The medical and mental health teams work together to treat the underlying issue to their clients’ problems, rather than just treating their symptoms. They provide counseling and psychiatric services to anyone struggling with mental health conditions. The team works with clients who experience anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, relationship issues, anger, stress, PTSD, dual diagnoses, grief and learning disabilities. The first step in treating mental health conditions at Southcoast is psychotherapy. These therapy sessions are conducted by master’s or doctorate level practitioners with at least two years of experience. Oftentimes, clients find significant relief working with a therapist and expressing their concerns. If psychotherapy is not enough, clients can work with a psychiatrist to create a medical treatment plan that can help lead to relief and allow clients to make progress. More often than not, clients are able to make same-day appointments with Southcoasts’ flexible schedule.

Geriatric Program

Southcoast knows that geriatric patients are not immune to mental health and psychiatric disorders. This program is specifically geared towards individuals 65+ years old. Geriatric patients often need help coping with loss, dealing with insomnia, managing medications and managing chronic pain and the impact it has had on mental health.

Veteran Program

Southcoast works to address the challenges that many veterans face upon transitioning back to home life. Counseling for veterans at Southcoast addressing PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, anger and memory loss. For veteran clients who have developed a substance use disorder, Southcoast can recommend higher levels of care if needed.
