Biopsychosocial Model
U Center provides a 7-week residential program that specializes in treating mental health disorders like depression, burnout, trauma, anxiety, and personality disorders. They also treat eating disorders, sex addiction, and gambling. U Center believes the most effective way to treat mental health conditions involves a tailored treatment plan delivered in a welcoming setting. The U Center places a strong emphasis on treating the whole person–mind, body, and spirit–using a bio-psycho-social model. Treatment includes a variety of therapies aimed at learning new skills, preventing relapse, and sustaining healthy futures. Residents will have the opportunity to partake in Schema-focused therapy, metallization-based treatment (MBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), light therapy, yoga, music therapy, art and expression, social skills training, and so much more. Their residential program offers a healthy balance of structure and free time, exercise, nutrition, self-study, self care, homework, and group therapy.
Natural Surroundings
U Center takes into account the natural surroundings and environment that can enhance the recovery process. Set in the quiet countryside of South Limburg and overlooking the gorgeous hillside, their peaceful setting sets the stage for a welcoming and comfortable environment. All bedrooms are private and have their own en-suite bathroom. Patients are allowed to use their smartphone, tablet, or laptop while in their room. Inside the center, clients can enjoy spacious common areas, an art room, a piano, a library, an indoor pool, and a Turkish steam bath. Outside, a cozy courtyard makes for the perfect place to relax and take in the sweeping views of nature that make U Center genuinely special.
