Clients break from substance dependency through medical detox, followed by a blend of the 12-Step approach, traditional psychotherapies such as counselling, and Eastern practices like yoga, gong bath meditation, and acupuncture. Detox, when necessary, is completed under medical guidance.

Located in the beautiful town of Halstead, Sanctuary Lodge is within easy reach of London and local transportation links. Clients stay in 19 en-suite bedrooms and 5 shared rooms, completely refurbished and decorated to a very high standard. A dedicated chef prepares nutritious meals using fresh ingredients and local produce, with dietary accommodations made whenever possible. Clients can exercise in the well-equipped gymnasium and take refreshment breaks in the property’s gardens.

At Sanctuary Lodge, clients receive 12 months of free aftercare, as well as lifelong support in their alumni programme. Sanctuary’s alumni scheme includes regular phone contact with their dedicated alumni team, monthly newsletters, an exclusive Facebook support group, and free recovery events throughout the year.
