Set on the University of New Mexico (UNM) campus in Albuquerque, UNM Health provides care for adults with mental health or substance use disorders. Their 96-bed facility at the Health Sciences Center is the first in New Mexico to offer neuromodulation as a treatment method for treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Electric convulsive therapy (ECT) is one of their most popular methods of neuromodulation. UNM Health also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to assist in recovery from substance use.
