Dual-Diagnosis

Wise Path is a dual-diagnosis treatment facility specializing in treating adults with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders using a holistic approach and evidence-based treatment methods. They specialize in treating those struggling with addiction and chemical dependencies to substances such as alcohol, opiates, cocaine, methamphetamine, and stimulants. Their thorough assessment process helps to identify any co-occurring disorders that may be an underlying cause of addiction. The knowledgeable clinical professionals at Wise Path Recovery can diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions including bipolar, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Treatment Methods

Individuals receiving treatment at Wise Path’s residential facility have access to a number of different methods provided by clinical staff who have been trained in several different treatment modalities. Wise Path specializes in evidence-based addiction treatment using methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing. Each patient is given a tailored treatment plan that will best fit their individual needs treating both substance abuse and mental health conditions. Patients with co-occurring disorders are provided psychiatric medication care and management if needed, as well as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for those with physical dependencies to substances. Wise Path Recovery Center also offers peer support, skill development, individual, group, and family therapy, and addiction and relapse-prevention education. When reaching the end of their residential program, Wise Path offers a continuum of care that involves referrals to doctors and therapists, housing and financial resources, referrals to outside programs that align with individual recovery goals, and access to support groups, advocacy organizations, and sober living communities. Mindfulness, meditation, and art therapies are some of the alternative therapies offered at Wise Path Recovery.
